This year on the back of November's ballot, there will be a question as to whether or not NYS should have a Constitutional Convention. Every 20 years this question comes up and residents must vote. Please realize that by voting YES, anything that is currently in the NYS Constitution is on the table for re-negotiation. That means environmental issues, women's rights, collective bargaining rights, and NYS employee pensions. The cost of the convention is over 300 million dollars and politicians can double dip with respect to salary and add to their own pensions by becoming Convention Delegates.
